The demolition stages and traffic engineering were carried out as follows:
1. East side of JPO girder lowering stage
- On July 3, 2022, from 22:00 to 23:59
- For the initial step, one lane will be closed during the preparation of heavy equipment. Then on July 4, 2022, from 00:00 to 04:00, the east side of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman will be closed during JPO girder lowering.
- During the closure, traffic from north/HI Roundabout and from east/Manggarai to south/Semanggi will be diverted via:
Landmark-Jalan Galunggung-Jalan RM. Margono Djojohadikoesoemo-Jalan K.H. Mas Mansyur-Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio-turn around-Jalan Jenderal Sudirman;
- Traffic from south/Semanggi to north/HI Roundabout is normal.
2. West side of JPO girder lowering stage
- On July 4, 2022, from 22:00 to 23:59
- One lane will be closed during the preparation of heavy equipment
- On July 5, 2022, from 00:00 to 04:00, the traffic closure will be implemented on the west side of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman during the process of JPO girder lowering.
- During the closure, traffic from south/Semanggi to north/HI Roundabout will be diverted via:
Jalan K. H. Mas Mansyur - straight to Tanah Abang - turn right to Jalan RM - Jalan Margono Djojohadikoesoemo - Jalan Galunggung - turn around - Jalan Jenderal Sudirman to HI Roundabout.
Vehicles from Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur V and Jalan Sahid Sudirman that lead to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman will be diverted by turning to Jalan K. H. Mas Mansyur.
- Traffic from north/HI Roundabout to south/Semanggi is normal.
"Road users are urged to avoid these roads, obey traffic signs, follow instructions from officers in the field, and prioritize road safety," he asserted.
